Lastly, WGT keep upping the price of stuff and people keep rushing back up to the checkout counter like a drug addicts needing their fix. Look at the R1. Everyone complained about that thing being so expensive, then the limited came out and was even more expensive and you had people playing nonstop to get to 93 to have it. So their ridiculous pricing isn't really stopping people from getting this stuff
An astute obsevation - seems regardless of cost players still buy regardless. Therefore that would be an indication WGT have calculated their pricing to have maximum rewards like any business does.
But as JS alluded, many of the players are buying using stockpiled credits. So how many of these players (like me) who just play for fun and pay to do so will fork out these prices? Not me for one, in fact it nearly deters me from playing as the WGT greed becomes obvious.
But as you said, perhaps the addiction kicks in. I have currently played 30 consecutive days, but can quite easily not play for 30 days so I can easily go without my "fix".
But as always we have a choice as no-one is forcing you to buy.
As for the R1 there was an incentive - it was miles better than the R11 and the balls that would have been used to get to the original R1 level is mind boggling.
