A message to all the other scorers please help my OCD and straighten your leagues out. im breaking out in a cold sweat with all the misaligned numbers ;)

Don't know if it's your screen Dave but looking down the list it's only your groups that are misaligned :)

Mine look ok from my end  with one eye closed and the other eye dodgy lol. My groups are lagging behind a bit and clearly the type to watch and wait by looks of things, so lots of empty spaces on my tables for 15 and 16...

but do have another question for the rest of the scorers. As we get more scores in, are we using shot difference to decide positions. I see Dazza has added score average to his tables, but wondered what we were doing to sort out positions as and when more matches are complete..So for instance, Match 1 has Player 1 with a 30 and Player 4 with 34 (Player 1 wins with a shot difference of 4. Match 2 and Player 2 wins against Player 5 with a score of 32-34 (The shot difference here is only 2 shots. So in terms of the table, Player 1 will be above Player 2?? Just want to check how we want to handle this going forward or it is just about scoring average or something else such as the very impressive tables by Alberto

    Cheers

    David

STAGE 1.... There will be 16 groups of 8 players.THE TOP 2 FROM EACH GROUP PROGRESS TO  STAGE 2....(7 matches). You will earn 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw .In the event of a tie after the 7 group games the  player with lowest combined overall shots for the 7 games goes through. If there's still a tie,who ever scored the lowest score on the 7th match shall proceed and the 6th , 5th etc until a winner is found.

I'm just totaling up the points and at the end of stage 1 i will use the format above to decide final places,as i have a spreadsheet with all names and scores from each round for my 2 groups.

Alberto, pay attention that the qualification zone is limited at the first 2 players. Ciao

Thank you Tam, I fixed that now.

I also fixed some groups matchups... I did not notice the alphabet letter was not in a straight order for groups 5, 6, 15 and 16.. now all should be OK.

Sweet work Alberto. I see groups 1 to 8. How do we find the groups from 9 onwards?

If you look at the bottom of the sheet there are several "Tabs":

One for leaderboards of groups 1 through 8, a second one for groups 9 to 16.

Then there are the calendars for every 2 groups
eg "Cal-G1G2" lists the calendars for groups 1 and 2 and so on.
    Yours would be "Cal-G9G10".

I've done the ones I've been sent and I'll do the rest once the round is over (or not this week as I'm away from Friday to Tuesday).

    I don't think I have yours yet.

People in groups 11 and 12, I'm happy to receive scores on my wall, via PM, carrier pigeon, you name it.

I'll check the leaderboard as well so if you forget to tell me, don't worry your score will still count (unless it's against an ELCC member...)

I do look at the leaderboard but there are 3 pages of it and I'm tracking 16 people so it's easier for me if you can VM it to me or post it in this thread.

Hello Everyone, upon request of the management of this Tournament, I removed the link to the File I created with the Leaderboards and Calendars, as it was causing confusion.

I am not part of the organization of this tournament and I understand that if there are differences between what I am doing and what the owners of this event are doing, this might cause misunderstanding.

I also apologize to have stepped up on this, and I should have known better and asked before doing it.

I will open a new thread where I will publish my work and make a disclaimer, and if you wish you will be able to use it there.

    Many thanks Albe ,

Hello all , i appreciated ABQ's work , but diddnt want to confuse any more of you with 2 styles of score keeping. His Spreadsheet will still be there to see in another thread. Questions regarding his spreadsheet should be put to him. On another note , i look forward to working with Albe in the future.

    Many thanks once again
