wgt.com or wgt.CRASH??

  WGT crashes are becoming more & more frequent. More & more disconnects in all types of games, players taking turns being disconnected during same game.

  Maybe WGT should come with a "completion checkmark" for itself that players can see before risking a game.

  We did have some instability tonight. It wasn't game per say but our datacenter.  Hopefully it's over.

  Today was the exception that WGT was unstable, but this affects all players, not just the individuals that drop out - due to lack of maintenance. Yes it is a pity that we have to optimize our systems to play this game, but for me, it is worth it.

  Tons of posts how to best optimize your system as well as under Systems Requirements to the right.

  I cannot definately recognize, what the real basic problem is.

  My problem since a few days is: loadmanager needs a lot of time to load the different pictures , especially from normal view to reverse and back!!!

  and I noticed, that my solo-play ist almost without any disturbes.

  So I dont play any alternate or matchplays, because I dont want to bother my friends....

  maybe someone can tell me, what the reason is...

  ( I cleaned up the cache all 5 minutes...and the line is fast enough )

  hyena- definitely a problem at WGTs end this morning (Sunday). Two of us who play each weekend fired up our normal weekly game were unable to play. My load timed out trying to load holes 1, 2 & 4. He timed out loading holes 2 & 3. Neither one of us has ever had any kind of a problem before other than an occasional single disconnect during a game.

  We've never had a problem because we both do our maintenance. It must be at WGTs end since we are on different internet providers in different states using different browsers.

  We just settled for a phone call and agreement to continue our games again next weekend.

  my screen is ok now, all loadprobs seemed to be forgotten.

  thanks a lot, didn`t knew the path to global settings and theyr clearing....

  ok so the DC had a temporary issue......it happens.....that's just the nature of the net.
