I love the free balls for when our CC does FFTH tournaments ... "Furthest From The Hole". That's when you turn around and hit it away from the pin... and see who has the WORST score on the 9 hole CTTH ....

It gives you and advantage over the free balls .... and is much better than losing 9 Nike's because you forgot to switch. (gee who did that !!! .. twice !!!)

These free balls are bloody credit baits. WGT only provides ONE measly ball, so that when you use it, the message 'this is your last ball of this kind, buy the same one for xxx credits' immediately appears. They position the 'BUY NOW' button in such a way that it is more or less within position of the 'Continue' button of the hole description initial pop-up, such that if one were to accidentally click the 'Continue' button twice to start their game, one might accidentally click the 'Buy Now' button too. What a tricky gimmick.

Just want to make two points here:

1. You're giving WGT way to much credit for thinking things through like that.

2. You only get the "last ball" box on the 1st tee so there is NO Continue button preceding it. You can click all you want while the game loads.

3. You didn't think this through. (yeah I know I said two points.....)

I too enjoy a freebie, only wish it was a sleeve though.

For example the Korbel balls were such fun, I bought two sleeves just to have a laugh in AS games.

The pattern on the international ball is just dreadful though, very hard to see where the dot is.

Though I'm not officially protesting the way the game plays since many of your worsening "Updates" ( by not buying $4.50 a sleeve balls or other equipment as many players have stated ), i have cut back my spending and am enjoying the free gift which scored me a 137 yd Eagle out of light fescue which I tried to post below, but apparently "saving" replays gives you random shots now as what I saved was not what was linked. Also, thanks for confirming that WGT is using alien technology in the form of time travel as the replay I saved today of that shot was switched with one from 9/20/2013 ! Another one of your "great updates" maybe ? While I may have been able to pull that off with a $1.50 Cally, somehow, it was much sweeter with your free gift.
