    Hi Everyone

I am currently having trouble opening up and using Team Speak after downloading. I've tried to download it 3 times to start over but can not get it to open properly. I did manage to get the window with the key on it; but when I tried to copy it to the proper box, there was nothing copied for me to paste.

    Please help

I would like to get this running for my country club and even watched a you tube video on how to use your own router as a free server. So that's it's totally free.

    Joe

Well, I guess nobody's chatting online anymore.

Sorry Josef, didn't have a clue how to help you.

My TS3 works well after an update, I even have a free server available.

    Thank you Alosso,

I just recently downloaded C3 and may give that a try since it's free and works instantly without the need of buying server time. Seems it's sponsored by numerous gaming companies and they donate there servers for free. Now if only I can get my members to download and join ....lol

Already created a channel dedicated for playing on here. I like the simplicity of the features as well. Hopefully it works out for playing golf on here with friends. It's mostly for video/PC gamer's but having my own channel should help.

Joe, you don't use a router to run teamspeak. There's a server version and a client version.

First you have to install the server version on a computer. Then install the client version on another computer. You can't run the server and client versions on the same machine. Routers don't run teamspeak. I have a teamspeak server running for my club. Been using teamspeak for 15 yrs.

Send me a message with the steps that you are taking, and maybe I can help you.

Joe,  you must have a server location and a password.   Our club has used and still uses team speak 3.   We would never go back to typing,  typing is lame imo.

When you get your subscription they will assign you a server,  you will pick the password.  However you will have to set up your rooms and mods and all that stuff when you log in and invite your members.

Give me a shout if you need some help.

    thanks

    d

I guess it's not free either. I have a very small country club and would like for it to be free.

You're asking me about a set-up. It has been a while, but I'll give it a try.

    - load TeamSpeak 3 from http://www.teamspeak.com/, install it.

I had to do an update these days, so get a fresh copy.

    - under "Connections" (first tab, perhaps different name), choose "Server List" (sp?),

    - search for "public" or "free" in hope for a free server,

    - connect to it with a double click,

    - test if you may open a channel of your own for free,

    - communicate server and a channel&password to your friends,

    - have fun!
