    rocnrolman:

Just got those bad boys yesterday and played a couple rounds with them and love the meter.

My question though is do they react differently in the wind than the lvl 79 burners?? I feel like I'm always coming up wayyyy short.

Since the clubs give more spin you will be short if you use the same amount of extra spin as with your old clubs. Remember that there is really no "front spin" or "no spin", there is always more or less backspin and dot in the center is simply "normal backspin". I use a lot less backspin with the R11 than previously with the RBZ and, particularly, the G20. The extra spin gives you flexibility and using full bs everywhere is just a waste of that flexibility.

Leave the spin alone and learn how they work without it first. You need a base to work from and trying to learn something new like those irons while throwing added factors in (like spin) is going to frustrate you. Learn the carry for each club, that's more important than anything.  :-)

The flexibility of the distances using spin is a very good point Tightrope!  We sure could use a "SpinPal" from WGT to more accurately judge the amount of spin applied.  It is hard to be consistent and especially so when using different balls.

    Something like this would work.

As we move the spin dot we see a numerical readout of the position.  4 decimal places would be sufficient for most players.  ;o)

If only we could move that wretched dot sideways, now that would be cool.

    +1 on that Jim

Stick to basics first.....  the more you think of doing different things, the more trouble you will get into and get discouraged with the clubs.

If you are using full b/spin all the time.... then just try taking some off.. Dot just off bottom

What a very thin line you have. Know how to make ding line wider ? I do . You do lose something graphically though but worth the loss.
