Everyone, get over the idea of "punishment".  WGT is an online game to make money for those invested in the company.  Can you name any successful company that punishes their customers?

As Snaike has said, many times over, find friends on here that will finish rounds with you.  As your parents told you, do not play with strangers.

Looking from the WGT point of view, how can you punish your customers.  I have just come to the conclusion that it is part of the game.  I play lots of stroke play games with anyone who will join as well as friends.  I accept that it will lead to some disconnects and go forward because frankly I can't figure out a punishment method that will work and obviously they can't either.

I once tried to punish a quitter by throwing a 64 degree wedge at his head but he timed out before the club could make contact.

Um yea... but it has nothing to do with golf.  Balls maybe, but not golf.

Isn't the real reason why Quitters or disconnects are diliked so much is that all to often it freezes & locks up the game in progress; screwing up the remaining players who are playing the round... This programming problem needs to be fixed..PERIOD..then, I bet the complaints would disappear.  As far a scores and such; what if that round is simply not counted in any form or matter, meaning the person who quit or disconnected neither gains or loses anything.  Remember, not all quit for gain, they just have to for whatever reason.  Or thier internet server gets over burden & either crashes or the player sees thier internet Mbps has drop to the point they feel they are causing the loading time to drag & thus being a pain for all the others; so they quit or disconnect.  Lets point out the real problem that ticks us off; the freeze ups that forces everyone to quit/disconnect... Just a thought

Dead horse alert!!!!!!!  You know what happens if someone quits a game with me? I get their credits. If you play a multi play game for nothing people will quit, end of story. Can we please get a quitting thread moratorium. God it's mind numbing. JB         p.s. Snaike why do you know about that site? lol
