Thanks for the comments Jim, Jim, John, Johnny, Irish, Dan, Lonnie and Wheels.

I figured it had alot to do with spin and wind. Since I use a 4 dot spin ball maybe that's getting me into trouble as I like using FBS more often than not. Using that much spin just became habit with the G20's and they seemed to fly pretty consistently regardless. Oddly enough when I mapped my Bladez, FBS seemed to get the most consistent flights, but that was in low winds. Admittedly, when the winds are up is when I'm having the most trouble. I'll back off to 1/2 bs into the wind and 3/4 bs downwind(perhaps full on long irons) and see if that helps any. As someone else noted, it seems these clubs are less affected by winds so I'll try to adjust for that too. I've already changed my elevation adjustment to 0.75(36 ft uphill, add 9 yards instead of 12)

Interesting someone else brought up the 7 iron. Its like it just keeps getting shorter and shorter. I started out with 156 3/4 bs and now I'm down to 152 and it still(!) comes up short.

    neil,

I recently quit the bladez as I reached the level for the R11s. I loved the bladez but two pieces of advice that bear repeating.

Into a headwind I usually got more distance (and more accuracy) when using topspin, so long as the landing area wasn't above me.

The bladez 7 iron is junk, don't use it, choke down on the 6I instead.

Played some solid rounds since writing up the OP. Maybe I was just getting VEM'ed like crazy because the last 2 nights these suckers have been on target like darts.

I did make a couple changes though: instead of using spin to dial down/up yardages, I settled on just playing 95-97%ish shots using 7/8 bs. That seems to fill the gaps nicely between clubs. I also made some notes just simply writing +/- (distance long/short) after each shot; tallied them up after a couple rounds and changed yardages accordingly. After the first iteration, the worst shots were only off 4 yards versus 8 or 9. The 5 iron was the most consistent with 0, 0, +5, -2, 0, 0, -2, +4, -4. Not surprisingly the 7 iron was the worst with  -6, +4, -5, 0, -4. The 3 and 4 irons were extremely consistent as well(most were hit less than 100%) in the +/- 4 area with some 0's. Now I'm somewhat confident going forward. Here's what I have( 7/8 bs neutral wind, fbs downwind, 1/2 bs into wind.)

    Club    Full(carry)

    3 iron: 226(218)

    4 iron: 204(201)

    5 iron: 188(185)

    6 iron: 172(171)

    7 iron: 154(154)

    8 iron: 143(142)

    9 iron: 133(133)

    PW: 123(123)

    Ball: L71 Nike

..subject to change of course. and tomorrow I probably wont get anything inside 10 feet.

It's 30 yards between the 6 and 8 iron. I'm willing to be a little more patient with it. :)

No probs at all with the Bladez. Have had no issues with balls flying off line and the distances are predictable.

Only bad club I have is the 6 iron, which does not fly at all. However, that is able to be overcome by playing varying spin.

I play a default shot with FBS with the Bladez, using the L71 Nike ball.
