NEED HELP!!

    never played golf. so... what does "FORGIVENESS" do and dumb question #2 when comparing clubs the "Meeter Speed" which way is faster or slower meeter speed?

    Forgiveness is how well the ball will be played if you miss the ding.  Clubs with low forgiveness will send the ball a long way off line, ones with high forgiveness will generally still get the ball close to where you want it.  Precision must not be forgotten though, it's at least as important as forgiveness, if not more.

    The meter speed indicator means slowest when it's pointing at 9 o'clock and fastest when it's heading towards 3 o'clock.

    Also don't forget slower meter may suit some and a faster meter may suit others.

    U have to find out what works for u. Treat 12 o'clock meter speed as average and work from there when buying clubs, and try to make ALL ur clubs the same speed, it will help.

    ...and FEEL relates to meter speed, the more dots of feel, the slower the meter.
