I believe stroke play is the only thing that affects averages anymore. Match play rounds against higher tiered players no longer have an effect. Best of's also have no effect.

I didn't see any scores in your score history in the last month or so that would have moved your average. On 9 hole tracks I saw from 34 -39 consistently with some above that but nothing below. So you probably have a full saturation of 34 scores on 9 holers which WGT just doubles to get an 18 hole score to calculate your average, being a 68, hence your average being a 68. I would be willing to bet in their calculation you have 50 scores at 34.  The 33 and 31 from Best of Par 3 don't count toward average, just as anything from Best of Par 5 wouldn't either.

IN shore you need to start shooting sub 33 rounds in 9 hole Ranked stroke play games or sub 68 in full 18s

If the clubs you have equipped are the ones that you use then you really should invest in a driver.

I play lots of match play challenges and knowing that my average won't change. Stroke play, tourney's, or ready-go's will change your average depending on your score.

    True for Legends and TLs.

Rumour has it (confirmed for 2012) that lower tiers' wins against higher tiers affect the average until TM, and credit wins do so, too.

First of all your actual average of your best 50 rounds as a Tour Master is 74.28

Your Match Play wins against Legends has lowered that to 68.00

WGT will not tell us how MP wins react but I have tracked all of mine in each tier. I did this by computing my actual average  and then compared that round by round in comparison to what WGT shows as my average.

What that give me is what I call my "stroke bonus"  (what I would have had to have hit to have my WGT average).

In your case that "stoke bonus"  is 157 strokes. In other words, WGT is subtracting 157 strokes from the actual number of strokes you took in your best 50 rounds as a TM. [note: the157 is calculated on 9 hole rounds] .

Again, since WGT will not tell us how it works, we can only make limited observations BUT I can say that the "stoke bonus" fades over time.

So in your case lets say you playa 9 hole round of 35. You have a number of 40s in your best 50 rounds as a Tour Master - so one of those will be removed and replaced with the 35.

One would think that your average will go down by 0.10 (5 less strokes / 50 rounds) but that is wrong.  WGT lowers your stroke bonus using some unknown formula and you average  goes down by 0.02 or may even stay the same.

The only way to guarantee Legend is to have 50 rounds of stroke play that are all 31s and 32s OR beat a Legend in MP when your average is sitting very close  to 61.00.

You have 6 rounds of 34 as your best rounds as a TM - so you need to replace all 50 rounds on your "50 best of TM rounds" with scores that are much better.
