Every since I have been a member of WGT it has been told to me that at each tier level you have to play so many ranked rounds in your tier, then you avg locks and will only drop with good rounds until you reach the the necessary avg to go up in tier.
This has been my experience as well coming up thru the ranks. When I made legend tier I had exactly 327 ranked rounds in and was told my avg would not lock until I had played 500 more ranked rounds. Well I have now played 518 rounds and my avg has not locked, meaning that when i shoot an even or over par round my avg still goes up.
Talking to my fellow Country Club players has has shown me this is not the normal case, some have shot as much as +12 and had there avg stay the same after the required 500 rounds. Obviously it cannot continue to fluctuate or no one would ever be able to tier up to Tour Legend needing to get below 60.
Just asking why this process is clear for some and not working so well for others, all help is welcome
