  I ended up playing with Alex and another guy(TL) stroke play on the front of Oakmont. Alex isn't too bad. We then played match play on the back 9 of Merion. He can play pretty well but like he always says, he needs to use better GB's if he wants to win. He's got all the fancy clubs now. I have to admit, it was much more fun than reading his posts here.  :)

  Good game cerino. You probably progressed better than me in managing the game. You are 1 up. We need rematch once i get someof the issues with putting , iron shots and even tee shots settled I am all over the place now.

  I had good fun. I think you're having trouble keeping up with the speed of the meter from those R11 irons. That's one of the reasons I don't want them. I can use any ball and the meter isn't too fast with my G20's. You have all the winning equipment. It just takes time to get used to what they can and can't do. For putting, look at the Game Tips section for the putting speed charts. I use them and they work.
