I just keep LMFAO with this. The man obviously wants free lessons and will not give up. Sorry I can't help him. I will play with any level, any tier and just do the best I can. All my friends know this and take me for what it is. I can't blame him for his tenacity though. You go man and one day you will be among the Elite. I will only be among the old school remembered by a few.

I've seen this act before.  It gets old.

I dunno, never had a bad round with Alex,,,he was never "uppity" and quite the gentleman when we have played.

My opinion is he's challenging himself, to see how he can fare with higher tiered players.

Ya'll take it for what it's worth, but that's my take on him.

    PS

Just play him and find out;)

I have played him, several times - and I agree with you - his in game persona seemed to be quite different than in these forums. I'm not clear, nor do I need to be, as to why there is a difference but I will say he offered advice during games that I wouldn't - but that's just me.  good post MB and one I think is true - despite him stating here that he likes to talk trash - that said - I haven't played him since he first popped up in these forums stating that with proper irons he'd beat all -  maybe he's sporting a new 'truth' or 'reflection' in the games lol

I ended up taking the ride one night and it was more fun than reading his posts here. I also suggest just playing him. He's better than his banter. ;)

He's obviously going to have a certain level of civility, or people will just stop playing him from here.

However, I amost want to play this guy because people say that he's a decent match.  Not sure how - his win pct. against other legends is less than 40 percent.  Hell, with my dimestore balls and an internet connection that rivals most 56K modems, I still win quite a bit more than I lose vs. other legends, and am probably around 75% against the whole master tees.

I'm just wondering if he "played up to his competition" a couple times on here, then falls back into the ranks of the freebie during other times.

Actually i really do not care TL or Legend. As long as they are good match play players.

Me talking trash in forum ..well its entertaining to see people reaction.

Everyone play this game for different reason , even though i challenge people i play for fun.

I do not mind losing. I never bitter about me losing to anyone.

I test myself in skills. That is about it. I like to play with different people. Thats all.

I played many games with mkg335 (lost 15-0 but had 3 games i was 1up at 18th and squandered)  and mbaggese. Always fun with those two.

I'll chime in with MBag, duff and CD...have enjoyed many a round with Alex, both mp and alt.  He's always a good sport and conversation is always good.  He's trying to improve his game, asks questions, and gives advice when he sees fit.  I find his attitude refreshingly honest.
