I'm not a shill for the company nor am I making excuses for them, but I think the real reasons are ...

    1. Popularity ... what courses get the most entries.I wouldn't think WGT  wants  to repeat the fiasco of the Cabo Del Sol and Congressional uneven lies tournaments that only filled twice in a months time. I agree though that Oakmont is not the only popular course.

    2. Busy administrators ... having a lot of work on their plate and opting for the quickest solution to a backload of tasks. Again, I'm all for variety, but I would tend to look at the real things that happen in most business environments ...

    3. And here's a wild guess .... making as few changes in the coding as possible for a short time so that some maintainance issues can be resolved... or bugs fixed ...

    C'est la vie ...

    LOL...Don.

    I'd like to comment..lol.

Busy administrators??...... What could they be possibly be doing?? I for one would love to know how many people are employed and who is responsible for what?

Wild guess...... now this is the funny part. When we get to the point to where we can't even change the weekly tourneys,, i think the incompetence speaks for it self.

Afraid to change it because maybe get another bug??  Now that might be the reason right there...lol.

And....... lastly. I truly do not believe that anyone knows anything about coding. I have been here long enough to see all of the failed attempts.

I would also say that when a new course is added,,, is done by Sub contractors. I would say they pay Subs that do know what they are doing. But then... we are stuck without anyone. Maybe should employ those Subs for other parts of the game??

I'm sure after the next downtime we will be looking for the next thing that disappeared.

    No????

I personally don't think they are really listening, or give a flying horse dung. This game has surely made millions for a couple of people within the WGT ranks. They see the numbers everyday and choose to let it be. Fools keep signing up, play, think they need the better equipment to be competitive and they spend some money. The tills are surely ringing, why should they invest any more for our personal satisfaction. I truly feel sorry for Icon and wonder why he is still doing what he does. I have a guess but probably totally wrong. Anyhow, the moderators are given their assignments and are restricted from there. Just look at old Pizza, he actually tried to be one of us, see where that got him, or her.

They dont listen but soon as a argument happens they are there to save the day and close the thread down. Trust me they see this and choose not to respond.

I agree 100% Brandon. But...... i can't see them responding to this thread.

What would they say??  OOO..... i'm sorry we can't change the tourneys because we are incompetent. Or..... better yet.... i'm sorry we can't do anything because we do not know how to do it, and something else might get effed up.

    LOL....yeah i can see that happening...lol.

I'm telling you,,, i would love to see another chat with Chad. Would be better than the circus coming to town.

    ;)

Edit: I also see that the mods are here, for sure read it. Silent will be the play here, i'm am certain. Sometimes not saying anything is better than removing all doubt......lmao!!

    Hi

    +1 for your post.

When I read these threads about WGT it is always the same 20-30 people writting

    out of many many players....

I am happy with the game and I think it is the best virtual golf game I have ever tried.
