When choosing a putter, think about increments, whatever putter you choose you want either 10ft and 100ft or 15ft and 150ft increments. Why? Simple, the meter speeds up the longer it travels, so on your shortish putts say 9ft the meter has to travel a long way on the 10ft increment and will be travelling full speed, whereas on the 100ft increment it will still be travelling quite slowly and with the easy math it's easy to gauge the distance, esp with a putter pal.
