Save the rental fee and just get them. Take a couple of weeks to learn them and the meter and you won't be sorry.  FWIW, the 3, 4 and 5 irons are the game changers. :-)

Thanksgiving is coming up & they usually have a free rental period during the holiday weekend ; so check them out first . I have these irons and while they're very precise , I find the meter a tad fast and I get caught off balance at times and completely miss the ding . But thats just me and my slow reflexes .

They're the best irons available but the meter speed is a bit fast, even faster than the R11 woods. Well worth getting though.

Especially with The driver and 3 wood you have I would not be rushing for the L90 R11 irons from Tour Pro Tees.  No disrespect but I doubt you really need them as their impact would be marginal IMO.  Come a free rental weekend by all means give them a go, but no rush to spend your credits before IMO.

Looking at your stats I am thinking (guessing somewhat) you need to understand your existing club's yardages more - Perhaps especially your wedges? If that is the case full mapping of your irons is required and understanding your fine wedges inside out to.  A good CC may help.

    Cheers

So true . I have had them for about a month now , and I really dont find them to be the cats meow . Even though I still have my bladez , I refuse to give up on these , just yet . So another month of play is required , before I decide to pack them in , or keep them .

From where you are , you really dont need any more clubs , unless you plan on tiering up , and moving back a couple of tees . I dont know why so many players hate to tier up . The move wont hurt you , in fact the game becomes more fun . You can always hit off the easier tees in practice rounds . So dont waste your credits or money , on clubs that you truly dont need . Too do so would only be foolish . No offense intended , just trying to help. Happy Swinging :-)

I see that you like to play Blitz and CTTH games.

Get the R 11's, best irons for getting it close IMHO! I have the G20's and love them too but not as much as the R11 irons.

I have the R11 irons I upgraded from the lvl79 bladez. They take a little getting used to but my scores have definitely improved by 2 shots over 9, so probably 3-4 shots over 18 on average - superb clubs.

However, 1 thing I will say - depending on what balls and clubs you are using now the meter could be an issue.

I did once lose my last ball (2.5 feel) and was all over the place with the free ball. It was like playing with the lvl 45 max irons - the meter was just craaaazzzzy fast.  I did use some very low feel balls withe the 79 bladez I had and could still control the meter with them, but I wouldn't like to use a ball with less than 2 feel with the R11 irons.

As long are using balls with 2 feel or more you shouldn't have a problem. I usually use balls with 2.5 feel, but hit under 30 with srixons (2 feel) on several occasions also.

I too had the Rocket Bladez but moved up to the R11's.

Never looked back. As mentioned, the long irons in particular make the difference,

As for the meter speed, it is a challenge, but my scoring average still went down.
