  This would raise suspicion in me.

  Not from legend to tour legend in an unlimited tourney on low winds at bethpage.

  There's only one "1st game in a tier" regardless of the tournament's nature. Still, it's not unthinkable in that constellation.

  As I pointed out earlier, it's not "1st game in a tier". It's the "1st game finished in a tier". If a person wants to show a low average, all they have to do is quit a round before the finish if that round isn't low enough. That "1st round" may have been the "1000th attempt".

  I love running into those players in AS games. It becomes painfully obvious after a few holes on the harder courses what the average is worth.  :-)
