I just recently moved into the legend tier and my game has turned to crap. I am really not sure what is going on. My putting has never been a real strong point but i had it figured out and have really improved my putting stats but now i cant sink a putt. I have the distances down perfectly and i can read the breaks fairly well but for some reason since the move up the putts that were on the edge and going in are now lipping out or just missing completely. So i don't know if a new putter with a little more precision would help or not? I am also using my pitching wedge a lot more than i ever have before and i have found out that my pw is wildly inconsistent. So i am wondering if getting the 52 degree 115 yard cleveland will help counter out my pw? Or is it the ball that i am using. I mainly run the 180 credit Srixons and they seem to fit my game well but now that i am from the tips is it just time to upgrade to a big boy ball like the 250 credit Cally. I have a few credits to spend and was just wanting a little advice from some of you out there. Thank you in advance.

Your new Legend Tourney Greens are a scooch faster than TM Tourney greens (in most cases)...back off the power a tad, or play less break.

For sure the top shelf wedges will aid in getting the ball closer, but for the majority of the holes, playing from the tips, you won't be hitting a lot of wedges in-sans Par 5's-so take your time and learn your longer irons.

I think you're idea with regard to you're wedge concern is right on point. With re: to you're ball, experiment a little. I moved to the callaway hex chrome plus. Had to make some adjustments with my distances, but for the few extra credits i'm extremely happy. I would rent the wedge for a day when you have a lot of time & give that a try. Renting is the way to go, I found that out the hard way buy buying first. 1500 credits for the nike method putter nothing but aggravation. Sold it back for 375cr again lesson learned. That putter is niether precise nor forgiving. About the only thing good about it "it was pretty".

    MBaggese:
.back off the power a tad, or play less break.

The two go hand in hand. Faster roll=less break (power through the break) and slower roll means more break. Be aware, trying to power through breaks in Legend and TL greens is risky, especially on downhill putts.

Putt like a TM uphill and back off downhill. When on TL greens putt like a Legend uphill and paranoid downhill.  :-)

FIrst off, congrats on making Legend.  You'll adjust too it after a while.  Alt shot is a good way to do that without blowing up your average too much.

Oh and clean the dust from your long irons, you're going to get to use them much more often now, but at least the grooves shoot should still be good.  ;-)
