Why when I'm in a game, and I let the game stay open for a while , then come back to the game and as soon as I putt I get the unexpected error.

This happens all the time, and I would like to know why

    Regards my friend!

They will tell you, it's you or your computer or your internet, but the true reason will not be disclosed.

I've seen the occasional "unexpected error" in MP games as a consequence of another player's disconnection, but I understand your description differently. Does it really occur in single play, and more frequently? ?always?

Can you continue the game after relaunching the game client?

A first guess would go towards your connector to the internet, a router or something? As a speculation, it might close down the internet connection after some time of inactivity. You'd not experience much of a difference in connection to other sites, but WGT apparently is extremely sensitive towards the slightest connection interrupts.

Perhaps you might change the settings of the connector?

Other than that, the usual suspects: Flash, browser (each or both), clear cache, re-install... what can I say?

Outside of your control are your provider and the WGT servers.

You might avoid such problems by saving the game or by shutting down the game client => automatic saving.

No Alosso, I am in practice mode, and using mulligans like crazy......LOL so I stop for a while with the game still open and on the green. When I come back and as soon as I take a swing I get the unexpected error.

I did not lose my internet connection so why is there an error? Makes no sense. It hasto be something on their end, but what?

your router may close the connection down in a pause - can you exclude that?

About "their end", we'll never know until we execute a buy-out.

    LOL

No , it's not my end, reason I know this is if my system shuts down it does not come back on it's own.

There are a few things I have to do to get it going

    hi

that's a good question. i am not sure because the other day I was testing something and left that window open for a good hour. then came back and resumed it..

it seems like it could be internet, especially if you have wi-fi not wired connection.
