  Golf is a wonderful game.

  If you are a fan of the game, you know that playing the game is just part of the fun, and you know that golf is one of those sports that offers you a wide range of statistics.

  WGT already record SOME of your statistics, but there is so much more it can be done.

  ONE simple thing that would open new options and detail, would be to offer, for each tournament played, the details, hole by hole, of the number of shots.

  E.G.: beside a "27" for a 9 hole round, it would be great if you could check the scorecard (with a link or whatever you like) for that round.

  Other statistics for a player would be "what is my average on this particular hole"  and so on... it would be really an improvement if players could access a wider range of statistics on their own game... or other's players game.

  outstanding idea - as my memory fades it would be lovely to have personal stats on particular hole, no matter the format.

  Nice idea and worth raising.  powers that be are showing little interest in this stat thing generally.....There is a 29 (last I looked) page thread for product suggestions, and this one is in there at least once.  The company only seems interested in changes that bring in the extra dollar today though.  I am not sure that won't come to bite them still,  but it's their business.

  Away from headline average we can't even get par 3 stats out of the main ones. The rest contain every nuance from day 1 hack start and move very slowly.

  I also would love to see more stats, and been trying to get it in, but right now, there is no news about that. I hope in 2014 we can make it happen!

  I personally think this kind of comment comes from not seeing the big picture.

  Putting some more stats can seem just a waist of resources and effort for nothing, but in the end, if you offer something players like, something that can be used for your game even as simple curiosity, it will make the game more appealing, thus more player will be attracted.

  And more players equals more revenue.

  Hope so.  A little bit of fiscal drag as opposed to always direct monetarism is well proven:)......Same thing for rentals on a different thread IMO.
