Well I agree with joe the ave to make leg end is 61 I did same as I just moved to leg end tier, not sure if the amount of ranked rounds count so much as I have over 900 ranked compared to the 300+ joe has.

And to be honest it is not as tough as I was expecting altho I would agree with what  tess said you need to be patient and think about your shots alot more.

No you shafted yourself by playing almost nothing but St. Andrews and more front 9's than anything. And as the front 9 St.Andrews ready-gos usually have low winds and standard green speeds it is very easy to shoot low scores.  That is a good way to move up fast but a very bad way to learn to play well.

I have to agree.  When I made Master under the 'old system' (there were only 2 courses at the time) I played the back 9 at Kaiwah until I got there.  Yeah sure I made Master, but I would get absolutely destroyed at BPB.  The best way by far to make Legend is to enter all the tournaments every week at a minimum and/or play every course as often as you can.

All of you that are complaining about the Legends complaining... grow up.  First, until recently the only equalizer the Legends had was the Legend-only balls (which suck!).  Second, The Legends have the exact same equipment options as most players.  Try playing 18 holes on every course from the Legend tees.  See how often you can make par on the 299 yrd Par 3's!  See how often you make par on the Par 5's over 600 yrds!

Honestly, some of the comments I've read here lately are completely juvenile and have obviously been made by players who have very little concept of the game at all levels of play.

Steel, which par 5's and par 3's are you having trouble making par on? Yes, the game is harder from back tees, but the only thing that is unfair is the inter-tier play when Masters and Tour Masters have a distinct advantage because of tee box. Play from the back tees on a whole is a great experience, that can only help your game. I have been very critical of WGT as of late. My only real beef is the unfair competition they created by allowing lower tiers access to the very best equipment and now these new Callaway balls. A 64 from the tips is much more satisfying than say a sub 60 from the master tees where you did nothing but stick wedge after wedge. Even after all my bitc*ing about this game truly the only thing I think is fkd up is the competition stand point. Truth be told I'm a much better player since being thrust into the Legend tier on Sept. 2. I now have to use all the clubs in my bag along with learning the how far a punch shot will roll out from all sorts of new areas. This is much more of a challenge than the driver/wedge game that quite frankly was boring me to tears. I apologize for other forum posts that were laced with venom, but a level playing field is what sports are all about in my book, just give me a fair shake not too much to ask. JB     Edit: thought steelers was a Legend player ignore first sentence.

Put your toys back in your pram dude and get your facts right. If you look closely at my score history, you will see that I only started to play Ready Go's in the last couple of weeks. My current tier is based on my ability to play the game.  I spend my time on here playing the game, not hijacking other peoples threads, acting like an admin.

Think it was a large trout I was slapped in the head with that caused me to go a little sideways. Now now David, can't change my stance that the lower part of the Legend tier was fed another shilt sandwich lol. I'm done with the other bit*ching part, it appears that only 2% of all people here at WGT are Legends. So I guess I'm in the .05%, can't really blame WGT for not giving a rats asz for what I think lol. Back to the grind for me, cheers. JB
