I was sure this guy graduated from the Davy and Bobby School of 70's Dorky Dancing Academy ... and was probably the Valadorktorian ...

Edit: or maybe it was this guy ...

At school aged circa 9 (now 17 yrs) my second boy was told that some boys very much enjoyed ballet.  He replied that personally he blamed that on the parent's:)

    23 July ...

A special birthday shout-out to PGA Golfer Boo Weekley, who is 41 today!

Today is the Harry Woody Pee Wee day ...

Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who played Harry Potter is 25 today.  Woody Harrelson is 53 today and MLB hall-of-famer Harold Pee Wee Reese ... who played shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers and managed the LA Dodgers (the greatest MLB team ever!!!!) was born on the 23rd ... back in 1918.  As Manager, he coached Don Drysdale, who is a hall-of-fame pitcher.  Don was born on this date in 1936.

The woman that proved one should never use the adverb "always" when referring to a man being of the "visual" persuasion ... Monica Lewinsky is 41.  I guess she has other redeeming qualities ... like a very nice "back of the head" ... the face isn't much to look at IMO.  And speaking of those that blow, Philip Seymour Hoffman was born on this date in 1967.

On the brighter side ... I'd like to present a new singer in the Country-Western genre ... Danielle Bradbery is 18 today.  If you happened to catch NBC's show, "The Voice", Danielle won in 2013.  Here's one of her new songs ...

I think to the FOPs and even some FYPs out there ... you've probably heard this singer's tunes ... David Essex is 67 today.  You may not recognize the name, but I'm sure many of you will remember hearing this song ...

Have a wonderful Hump day everyone!

Yes. In certain cynical circles, it is lovingly known as the "Levi's Syndrome" when things are topsy-turvy in the genes...

    Yesterday.....in 1885

Ulysses S. Grant ~ President, Union General and as Lincoln said "He's my man", died with major help from his almost lifelong lovefest of 20 cigars per day...yep, throat cancer. He lived with a simple devotion to never stop with anything until it is finished. Toward his end, rascality from business associates rendered him almost penniless until encouragement and help from Mark Twain convinced him to pen his personal memoirs, which he did. He finished it on May 23, 1885 and wrote in his own hand, "These volumes are dedicated to the soldier and the sailor. US Grant". The book is a best seller to this day.

Speaking of cigars, I noticed that our JFidanza is sporting a fine looking double torpedo

    24 July ...

Today is Jennifer Lopez's 45th birthday ... here's a clip from the movie "Enough" ...

And Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) is 63.  Makes me wonder why that would make an outfit like that in that size!

If you love broadway musicals like I do,  Kristin Chenoweth is 46 today ... here's a clip from the Broadway musical, Wicked ...

And also today ... Ruth Buzzi is celebrating her 78th today.  Here's a clip from the TV show, Laugh-in ...

And some of you may remember muhmulmuhMel's little girl ... Pam Tillis is 57 today ...

Finally ... what a better way to end this post on Sure Happy It's Thursday Day than with this comedian, who is celebrating his 68th today ...

Have a wonderful S.H.I.T. day everyone!

    25 July ...

The best of the best NFL running backs (just should have been a Raider) ... "Sweetness" himself, Walter Payton (1954 - 1999).  If you were to read his bio, you would understand why the NFL gives a "Walter Payton Man of the Year" award to the player who performs the most charity work.   While there may be others to break his records ... there will never be one with as much heart and dedication to the game and life itself.  This world could sure use a few more Walter Payton's!

So here's a Broadway actor from the early to mid 1900's ... I had hoped to find a broadway musical of him singing, but instead I found this ... a commercial before my time.  I honestly couldn't help but laugh and share this ...

Here's Broadway actor, Jack Gilford (1907 - 1990) in one of the funniest commercials I've seen ...

Something tells me GOP Andyson got a lot of his humor watching stuff like this!

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I have to give him credit, as a second term President he does a good job campaigning for himself, does he realize that the moving truck is going to pull up at his crib and haul him and Moochelle out in January of 2016.    Hope that they find his stash.

Ahhhh, The Truth be known!  DK is not sweet Rapunzel or Elsa the princess!  She's an effin' Raider's fan!

    Andy the LLBF!

    (Life Long Bear's Fan)

P.S.  IMO, the Raider's organization today is only slightly less disfunctional than the Cub's organization.  But they are both way ahead of whoever is in 3rd place.  ;o)
