SweetiePie: 1967 ~ The Stones release "Let's spend the night together"
..and still worth a listen
Well Z-Man, it is true ! I called my Dad and asked him what he remembered about it, he chuckled and said that when the Stones went on the Ed Sullivan Show to perform it, a strait-laced Ed Sullivan insisted by contract that the words be changed to "Let's spend some time together", and that Jagger was rolling his eyes as he sang it. ;-}

George III was the first of the Hanoverians born in Britain. England was his home and his first priority, and he doggedly worked at his kingly responsibilities for as long as he could through his 60 years of rule. Though he made costly mistakes, and in later years declined into such poor mental health, requiring he be fitted with a strait waist jacket, a regency was instituted for the final decade of his reign, George gained the affection and admiration of his subjects. With his stolid sense of rectitude, he turned the kingship into a symbol of British values.
