  And in 1865, during his 2nd inaugural address, he said these famous words ...

  "With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."

  It was great that Lincoln gave very short speeches ... I would have hated to have been forced to memorize William Henry Harrison's inaugural address!

  • 1825 - John Quincy Adams ... first "son" president ... the son of 2nd US President, John Adams.

  Not knowing what year you were born in I wrote 19??.  This would have been less confusing:
