    A very happy birthday, Frapp!

    4 August,

Oh my, NOLA's own Louis Armstrong (1901 - 1971).  Satchmo told everyone his birthday was 4 July 1900 ... and my birthday source listed him on the 4th of July!  But Pop's is good enough for me to share him twice ... based on what he said in public and what his baptismal records say.  So, here's a number from Louis Armstrong ...

and one more, for good measure ...

A few notables share Satchmo's birthday ... neither of which truly blow my skirt up like Satchmo ... Barack Obama is 53 today, and Billy Bob Thornton is 59.

A couple of race car drivers share Pop's birthday as well ... Jeff Gordon is 43 and Kurt Busch is 36.

I'm still trying to get the stench off my fingers from typing those "Notables" ... maybe a little joke from Abigail Spencer will help ... she's 33 today ...

Close ... maybe a few sports figures will do the trick ... MLB star Roger Clemens is 52 today.  NFL All Star running back John Riggins is 65.

To end the day like I started, here's one of my favorite actors ... Daniel Dae Kim is 44 today.  Here's a pt 2 interview that talks about the show he's currently working on ...

Have a wonderful Monday!  It's back to work for me!

    5 August,

LPGA Golfer and 2005 Rookie of the Year Paula Creamer is 28 today.

It's also Neil Armstrong's birthday (1930 - 2012) ... he was the first person to step foot on the moon.  Some of you may remember this event ...

I kind of wonder how many of you remember this gal ... Maureen McCormick is 57 today.  I wonder ... anyone have the hots for Marcia Brady?

or maybe this gal was more to your liking ...

BTW ... that last clip was Loni Anderson, who turns 68 today.

But guys, my next birthday girl is going to tell you like it is.  Terri Clark is 46 today ...

Today is also Lolo Jones' birthday ... she's 32 today.  She was in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, running the 100 M. Hurdles.  I still remember this race ... Lolo had the lead when she hit the hurdle in 2008, and finished 7th.

It's also Mark Strong's birthday, who turns 51 today.  Here's a quick clip where he has hair ...

Pete Burns (55 today) is also celebrating a birthday.  I think she's a guy, or he's a girl ... I'm not totally sure which, but I do like this song ...

    Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone!

edit: also had a crush on Marcia Brady, lol

Either way, very avant-garde with a catchy tune...looks like it went on the cheap with its bodice, but, what the heck, everyones gotta eat...

I don't get it myself ... here's a gal that has done tons of surgeries ... maybe she should find a plastic surgeon that doesn't suffer from Hyperopia.

and LJ ... you liked Marcia better than Loni ... and all this time I thought you guys were hooked on cup sizes!
