    6 August,

A special birthday salute to PGA golfer Webb Simpson, who's 29 today.

One of the best female comedians ever ... Lucille Ball (1911 - 1989).  There's this show on TV Land from back in the days when dinosaurs roamed free on the highways of America ... it's called "I Love Lucy".  While the show is extremely dated, I simply love it!

Here's a tribute video taken from that show ...

Geri Estelle Halliwell (Ginger Spice) celebrates her 41st birthday today  I won't punish anyone with a "Spice Girls" number though (because I'd have to find one).  Instead I'll play a video of Regina Carter (48) who is also celebrating a birthday today ...

    and 6 August is also Robert Mitchum's birthday (1917 - 1997) ...

English born Jazz and Rock Fusion guitarist Allan Holdsworth is 68 today ...

Have a great Hump day everyone!

    Good thing it wasn't snowing!

My uncle tells a story of his pet "Rex" when he was a small boy.  The family had to get rid of Rex because he kept eating all the neighbors.  Here's a pic of Rex ...

    7 August,

Today is Charlize Theron's 39th birthday.  I found this clip from "The Legend of Bagger Vance".  Since this is a golf game, I thought it would be fun to share it with my loyal readers ...

Also Carl Switzer was born on this date (1927 - 1959).  Many of you super FOPs probably remember him better by his stage name ... Alfalfa.  I think Andy will remember him.  Anyone else?

Clint's daughter Francesca Eastwood is 21 today.  A bit spoiled IMO!

Bruce Dickinson, the frontman for Iron Maiden is 56 today.  Here's a vid when he had hair ...

The Amazing James Randi is 86 today ... I found this rope trick on youtube ... hope you enjoy!

And Wayne Knight is 59 today.  I'm sure many of you may remember him as "Newman" on the TV show, "Seinfield".  Here's a clip of Wayne as "Newman" ...

An extremely good blues singer and guitarist, Magic Slim was born on 7 August (1937 - 2013).  Any of you guys share Slim's sentiments?  (I promise not to tell!)

Also born on this day, contemporary Hawaiian singer Justin Young is 36 today.

And Country Western Singer Rodney Crowell is 64 today ...

And last, but not least ... Country singer BJ Thomas is 72 today.  I know I've heard this song before in a movie ... I just can't think of the title ... (help please!) ...

Have a happy S.H.I.T. day everyone!
