9 October ...

I think sister Lily bated me by forgetting this one ... A great singer from a really good band in the 60's ... John Lennon was born on this date in 1940.

Also ... one of my favorite actors ... Scott Bakula is 60 today ... my little plug ... you can catch Scott Bakula on CBS's new drama, NCIS NOLA on Tuesday nights at 9 PM, 8 Central time! lol.

And one final video ... Jackson Browne celebrates his 66th birthday today.

Well, just this once....as you know, I am willing to do almost anything to get you to post here. It takes my boring 'rice cake' blabber and seasons it to becoming almost interesting. I saw Lennon & J Browne and figured well, give it a turn...great to see you ! ;-}

Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel, while serving as the Vice President of the United States. So there you have it ... even if you're Vice President, don't ever get in a duel with the the former head of the IRS! lol.

This ho-hum quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons, NY Jets and Minnesota Vikings celebrates his birthday today. I only mention those three teams to throw you off track a bit ... so ... who am I talking about? Any cheeseheads out there? Shoulda retired a Packer ... Grandpa Brett Favre is 45 today.

And David Lee Roth is 59 today. This one made me think of my good ol' GOP buddy ... lol.

English newcomer Gabrielle Aplin is 22 today.

US born Lzzy Hale, from Halestorm is the big 30 today ...
