putting does affect the durability.....fix it!

    As for Jims comment. this has happened to be, finished the hole and then got the notification at the next tee. I think this is only because it is the next shot an actual hit will be deducted from the ball. I too had experimented a while back on a worn out ball and it was not taken out of play.

    Or, the last shot with a regular club used the last of the ball's durability, but the shot landed on the green negating the need to replace the used up ball so you could putt, and the fully depleted ball was then replaced on the next T so you had a ball with life to hit.

    Last year Pizza said that ball durability was affected in the putting challenge. So I would assume it would also be affected in normal CTTH rounds as well. But my question for TT is why would you use a purchased ball in a CTTH round if you were just going to hit it with your putter. I may be misunderstanding but I read it like he is using his putter in the sweeps just to get the entries.
