I would like to gain a few friends and join a CC. I am British and live in Devon.
I am at Pro level, just changed most clubs and none of distances seem to apply consistently.

Or maybe the three of you guys could start your own CC and buddy up...it may work out better than playing with yourselves.
Or maybe they could join a CC and learn the ropes first.( like they asked)

I received an invitation to join Sunburnt Boomers CC. You may have recieved one as well, I have requested membership of the new CC.
Look forward to seeing you there and I think it is probably simpler than trying to set up a new one.
Don't forget that if you join an Australian club they will be around 12 hours different to Brits. It may suit you but give it some thought.
Ahhh very good point. I am semi-retired so it could work out, but even then will not be wanting to play at 7 am.
