Could we get a High Level high lofted wedge rated at 90 yards CLV and/or ATV.

    Thank you for your consideration.

My 56° ATV L86+ wedge is rated at 100 yards. If I want to hit it 90 yards I just use 90% of the swing meter. Bada bing! Bada boom! 90 yard shot. Note: Adjust swing meter % +/- for wind.

Wow, I did not know that, really wow the things I learn, hit less power, wow, why did I not think of that, does it work with putting also? Surprising you did not mention I could maybe punch the club to 84 yards and add a little top spin, or putt the top scale of my putter at full power, or maybe a full driver from the fairway.

I just though it might be a bit of a waste that I have 2 clubs that hit 100 yards, but what do i know, I obviously need help hitting a club 90 yards.

You can get the Ping 56 wedge Lvl 41+ which is 90 yards . I use it , and its a good wedge . It also is cheaper than the other wedges that you mentioned . :-)

It does seem, or, is a waste. In my iron set, the PW is at 110yds and punches at 94. The ATVs, like yours decend from 100yd Full-83 punch, to 75 Full-62 punch and then 50 Full-41 punch. It is a nice spread, but like you, a few of the gaps are tender and a 90 yard shot is no exception. But again, two 100 yard clubs to carry seems rather lame.

Yes and I could also get the max, or the low level CLV and I'm sure there are others, or WGT could just give me a match to the higher level clubs with the same stats and meter speed.

FFS I tried the lower level ones, they do not pitch, chip or flop anywhere near the same and have significantly different meter speeds.

In the end I will likely move to the lower level clubs to get my desired distance gaps, but the higher level wedges are hard to beat for pitch, chipping, flopping and bunker play, and have the same meter speed as my other clubs, but I'm sure the lower level clubs can be learned again eventually.

I'm not asking for the moon, it's just a suggestion, and having 2 clubs that hit the same distance is a waste of a slot. But i recognize now that this suggestion will be opposed for some reason. Ideally they need 2 more clv's 90 and 75 at the higher level with the same specs. 90, 75 and 60 in my bag would be perfect, and provide plenty of options.

One thing is certain, with 4 or 5 pages of wedge choices as of now, what you seek and suggest is in no way an unreasonable desire nor a far fetched notion.

The 54 degree ATV if it is like the 54 degree Z-Satin TP that it replaced will hit full at 110 and it punches to 91.Only 10 yards gap between it and your Nike pitching wedge that is rated at 120. So no 2 clubs the same.

No matter what they make there will always be a gap somewhere. You can fill most of the gaps by using punch and or choking. Oh you could drop your 3 wood and carry 4 wedges but in the legend tier the 3 wood becomes needed much more than before. Many of us did just that until we made legend.I still do it at times at St. Andrews front 9 because most times you can reach #5 in 2 with your 3 iron or by punching your driver.

OMFG, really my nike pitching is rated at 120. Drop my 3 wood? Immediately off the top of my head there goes 3 par 3's and still I have not closed the gap I want. The new Nike 3 iron does not have the same NS yardage as the r11, the 3 wood is more essential with the nike irons then was with the r11.

OK peeps, I know you are trying to help, but only sweetiepie so far gets it. The nike PW punches at 103 also similar with the r11 and does the job just fine. It would fill a nice gap at 90, 75 and 60 after that, it would be a perfect setup. Same meter speed, same performance = perfect. As sweetie mentioned, there's already 5 pages of wedges and the 5th has plenty of room for more, kind of like golf town with less options.

They need 2/4 more either CLV 90 and 75, or ATV 90 and 60.

The options at lower levels is a problem as the meter speed drops significantly and the lack of spin makes the precise distance control harder for the recovery shots.

I'm not asking for them to get rid of the current options just add a few more.

Whatever peeps, just get behind this, it won't kill you.

The Nike PW as noted punches at 103 yards.  Unless I am missing something (and I could easily be knowing me), that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot for this game (much of the time) if you have the CG 56 which has a full shot starting, in practice, at 102 yards.

So OK a new 90 (goes 92 ish Fshot say) yard wedge that winds up to say 99 yards with top spin, and say it punched at 78 yards.

The existing usual cleve set 60, 80 and 100 yard wedge covers that circa 76 - 107/8  yard range well anyway, but this looks sensible extra choice, and why not..
