   Just finished the finals match between myself & mightyred. What a battle! 

  I got off to a rough ( literally) start on the first hole- left, left, over the green ... we've all been there. . red goes 1UP.  Red hangs one of the lip  on # 5 ... blame it on VF greens , but that brought us back to AS.  We halved the rest of the front ... short putts bit us both a couple times.

   On the first extra hole, Red hit a real beauty from 200+  ( I'm thinking it was 205) , with the ball almost curling into the hole for eagle. I answered with a pretty nice 2nd shot , leaving a L-R 12-footer. No way I was leaving another putt short but, alas, I was a little too wide and missed my birdie putt. Concede the 2-footer, and Red win with that awesome 2nd shot.

   Fun match, we both hit about the same number of good/bad shots...very well deserved win to Red.

  Thanks Slor for managing this mess .. it was a lot of fun being a part of it.
