The improved course notebook (January 28/29) has some welcome additions, but one shortcoming remains, and a new one now exists.

First, if notes exist for a hole (such as STA H17), then those notes should carry to any Best Of courses that also feature that hole. To need to enter those notes two or three (or more!) times is aggravating.

Second, with the improved course notebook we now have the ability to view and edit any of the notes for the courses, and can even navigate notes per course for both stroke and ctth (when appropriate). However, if one clicks "Save" at any time, the notebook is closed, and then we are returned to the page from which we opened the notebook.

As one who has been brought up in an age where "Save frequently!" has been a way of life, I prefer to save my notes after I enter them for each hole. Heck, I would want to save when switching from Fairway to Green. There times when I have taken notes (in my head, or on paper) during a multi-player round, since we are not able to edit/add while playing, and want to add them to what I have, and this can sometimes involve several holes. Choosing between entering all of the notes and saving after they are done (hoping nothing happens to interupt before that Save can be done, lol) and a forced closing of the notebook each time Save is clicked... sigh...

I play mostly multiplayer mode so disabling notes...is kinda useless for me. I bought notes one month ago ..never used. waiting for multiplayer mode access

My idea is when its your turn to hit , it disappears just like the scoreboard or any display window currently in wgt.

Notebook appears editable only when its not in your turn.

Yes, definitely! Remarked about this yesterday during a game. Your turn, read only. When the round goes to the scorecard, notebook closes. I collect more notes during multiplayer games (Alt Shot) than any other type these days. Notes collected by myself are broader in scope, and typically not Hole or even Course limited, which is another missing feature of the notebook.
