David,

Many thanks for the game which was very enjoyable despite the loss. David had an early 3 shot lead (as I had obviously forgotten how to play early on....lol), but I had clawed it back to one stroke and played a pretty reasonable tee shot at the 8th, when David played the best tee shot in any of the matches I have played in this Tournament, which hit the exact right bit of the slope to take the sting out the landing, then rolled majestically down the slope and bang into the centre of the hole for the HIO you see above and I never really recovered. Fully deserving of some kind of best shot award

Thanks again for the match David and many thanks to the organisers for a well run tourney.

Well done to Michael for a brilliantly run tournament, a great job, and my thanks to the captains for the ease of getting pairings and substitutes sorted out.

From the FAPC, we are all looking forward to League 3 and another fun and interesting competition with some fine players and friends already made.

Again I'd like to thank everyone for taking part and to the captains for their input, thank you all. I'd especially like to thank Ian for his help and his work compiling the league tables. And not forgetting WGTicon and dbloshoe for the sleeves.

It was a good tournament with very few hiccups. See you all next year!

Congrats to Mike and his team for their win. We have 8 shots to choose from for best overall, the winner gets 500 credits from Stu.

Hi Michael, As Captain of DGCC, I would like to vote Manishgolfer9 - Fair Play Rd5 SOTR as being the best shot of the comp. Whilst all the SOTR are extremely good, I think this Par 3 Tee Shot at Hole 8 at St. Andrews was technically the most challenging, when bearing in mind the strength of the side winds he had to take into consideration and still landing it within a few feet of the pin.
