Pretty sure (well history says v possible) the new driver will be on offer at a lower level on special for say $40??

It's currently $35 for those qualifying at L100. The L97 Nikes are $40 anyway, and a new Nike 3 wood I can't see being let go for less than $15 minimum.  That's minimum 9,000 (edited I was tired and well just one decimal - joke with 100K thus fell flat with this also lol) credits all up:)

If this bundle went on special, at a lower level, I think you would be looking at 100,000+ credits personally.

Just out of sheer idle curiosity though, as NO rush whatsoever for me, is that new driver nice to use?

I'd think the lower trajectory of the R1 would make it a tad more useful than the new driver in all but a stiff tailwind...definitely more useful with headwind and/or side winds.

Having said that, everybody likes a new toy so I'll probably pick one up after the long haul to L100 (about 435,000 xp to go) or sooner if wgt offers a special.

Don't give them any ideas, it's only 10,000.

I think they have priced themselves out of orbit, created a black market, and will be eventually out of business, but that's another story.

I get that there are those that pay it, and would pay anything, but likely mostly with accumulated credits,  I suspect there are only a few who open up the wallet and drop $50 on a club.

Personally IMHO they need to drop the prices dramatically, especially if there's a bump in new customers due to golf channel. Its ridiculous to believe someone new is going to spend the hundreds and close to a thousand dollars required to play here and progress. I believe if they did, they would actually make more money doing so, but I'm just a normal joe without a marketing degree.

"The new Sky Brace technology gives you higher trajectory and more carry distance, helping you cut more dogleg corners on WGT"

From the announcement. Given there aren't a whole lot of places you could do this now, Pinehurst is coming up. By the looks of it,  13 of the holes are bent. You don't suppose..........
