  "401yd drive "

  on 9/8/10 wkly tourn. hit my drive 401yd @St A #16 through the green (in bounds). No credit for longest drive recorded by wgt. I completed round and saved re-play so u can verify distance. Please respond w/acceptance or reason not approved. Thanx....David

  Anyone with 400+ yd drives please respond?

  Nice poke, David. It looks like you caught every downslope in the fairway. Unfortunately it wound up in the rough, that little darker green area where it ended. That's why it doesn't count-the drive has to end in the fairway.  Bummerooski.  :-)

  Well my longest drive was 409y  in STA but it end on rough , so it doesn't count in my stats  . Anyway nice drive ..

  That's a real shame. I caught some similar bumps off the black tee, but unfortunately it also got pushed left. Managed to go just to the left of the bunker at the front of the green which was good fortune, but came to rest in the rough at something like 395 yards.

  Outstanding and impressive drives, gentlemen.. but I believe the record is set by Birdwell at 414.

  I believe my friend Richard has that data.... although most on this site don't want to hear it.  It revolves around tweaking your machine to handle the game the best, not screaming and crying at WGT to change the game to meet specific players' needs...  

  I'm sure he'll be along shortly.   LOL

  I had a 329 that ended on the fringe. Annoying that one doesn't count. Pretty stupid. Don't they count if it ends on the green either?
