  I am big on the Versa putters...never owned the others but with the performance level of the versa I never thought about trying others...

  when I was putting bad I was always more worried Odyssey would take it away for destroying their reputation than switching...lol

   

  I did buy the lower level nike for 2 days before I bought the versa...

  with my Spider lvl 19+ its first increment is 25 feet. So it's easy to calculate, say I want to hit the putt 10 feet, 10 x 4 = 40 %. So I put the putt with 40% power it goes 10 feet.
  
  The Versa's first increment is 15 feet, so now if I had a 10 foot putt it takes more time to calculate, need to pull up the calculator  10/15 = 67%. 

  Many players use a higher increment and less power. Makes it easier to ding. So in your example above, 10% of the 100 increment should go the same distance as 40% of the 25 increment, and be a little easier to ding.
