Wassup WGT, I have an idea. :)
I've read a lot of recent posts with members asking for balls with specific specs due to fit their wants. Players here play different styles - some like to throw darts & some like to run it close to the pin.
I think purchasing a blank ball with a certain number of ball allocation points depending on how much the sleeve costs could solve this entire dilemma. The purpose of this is to apply the points to any category of the ball that the player may desire (Distance, Spin, Feel, Durability).
Example:
- For 300 cr - Receive 8 allocation points
- For 400 cr - Receive 10 allocation points
- For 500 cr - Receive 12 allocation points & so on...
Of course WGT would have to do some math and figure out how much to charge each sleeve for the certain amount of points the ball will contain, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a problem.
The Pro Shop doesn't have a ball to fit everyone's preferences or style of play, so I think considering a feature like this or very close could provide some added incentives for the players and a large window for revenue on WGT's end. In the end, it's a win-win situation for both sides which is the direction WGT should be heading towards.
What do you guys think?
