The integrity of the game and respect for other players

  Hi everyone,

  I have been a member now for a month starting like everybody else as a hack to pro and paying my dues as i go along.

  One thing i understand is wgt is a business in entertainment to make money which is perfect. as long that it is entertaining you. and to keep you satisfy,i hope.

  The direction that the company is going with tablets and i phone apps will be coming so ridicule to a point of no return. i will give you a example...

  How many of you finish a 9 holes in a foursomes?  By the end of the second holes usually there at least one player that quit, meaning he just turn off the computer  for whatever reasons letting the rest to wait for 3 minutes plus a commercial for a other 30 seconds.Then the main server has problem fixing the threesome back ,a other minutes. Players with one bad hole will quit ,just to keep there average up for no reason beside there ego. Players that quit or disconnect should be forfeit right away.

  EXAMPLE 2  i decide to play a stroke game on my i phone,lets say with 2 more player for 9 holes . Average time per hole on a fast game lets say 10 minutes per hole for a total of 90 minutes. So do you think within a 11/2 hour i will not receive a call and disconnect? Yes i would disconnect .  So the game will stall and the server will get mix  and so all of the players involved.

  Every day that i played for 30 days,there's always one bad apples and there's nothing you can do about it,so i cut the numbers to a threesome ....same thing because they know that it does not reflect there score if they quit and leave everyone behind. Why care? Theirs thousands of players

  IT IS WGT responsibility to make the game better and not worst.

  I hope i am not the only one ,on this position and hope to hear from people that want to make the game better.

  Hi miki, I do understand your frustration but there will always be disrespectful people when 'forums' are involved. I've even witnessed several so-called 'Christian forums' filled with many hateful people but very few forums that I've seen, demonstrated as much disrespect toward others as this one.  But 'forums' are antagonistic by nature and unfortunately, more often than not, tend to bring out the worst in people especially where they can hide behind an anonymous Username.

  With regard to whether or not 'WGT being responsible to make the game better; not worse', that may be debatable at best? WGT owns the game site and it's their prerogative to change or not change things as they see fit.  So what you see is what you get and you can either accept it or not.  It's just that simple but WGT's golf games are still the Best there is on the Net; so just enjoy the privilege of having such a great selection of Courses etc. and just learn to avoid and/or live with any perceived negatives as best you can?  In fact, you've already got it better than most of us because when I was a Hack, there was no such thing as 7.5-foot gimme putts. :) Now I see why Hacks are able to move up in Levels much quicker than we did.  Kind regards.
