I don't like the larger putting grid movers for a couple of reasons.  First, they are too big and look like fuzzy golf balls.  The importance of the putting grid movement in the first place is to give you an idea of how the green is breaking and at what speed.  The new large size movers are too much "in your face" for me.  It detracts from the already difficult task of hitting a good putt.  Second, why change what has been working for years?  Especially if it's only going to make putting even more hard to do. This change. IMO, has no positives for it at all.

Please go back to the smaller, pinpoint movers on the putting grid.  I've got a feeling I'm not the only one who has complained about this.  I hope the powers of change at WGT are listening.

Ditto.  I think it GREATLY detracts from the realism.  The whole POINT of this game was that it used actual photos from real courses and looks and feels very real.  These giant ping pong balls rolling around on the green make it feel much much more like I am playing a video game from the 80s.

I agree. And from someone that has not had the solid, quiet time necessary to focus on the 2nd round of Transamerican Tournament, this is not good. I now have to figure out an entire new putting look, AND try and shoot well! Could this update not wait till the end of the month? Wouldn't that have let everyone get used to this gaudy site on the greens during the unlimited play first round?

It is extremely unfair, to those that have been practicing for round 2, to have a brand new look thrown at us 3 days before the tournament ends! And to have shut it all down for 6 hours for some balls and worse putting conditions...good move.

I agree...really don't like the new look and also the absence of the grid for pitches and chips.

Agree, why waste time "improving" something that doesn't need to be improved. Grid for pitching is needed!

I also agree.  In all the golf games I have ever played the lines on the green are like the old way.  I like the challenge of the game.  Those new lines make it too easy IMO.   Donnie

The bigger dots don't bother me, but I was fine with the small one too...the only good thing about them is if you use g0ld's system timing the dots to find break, it is easier on longer putts because you don't need to zoom as often and saves time....
