Chinajohn:
Had a quick look (shot a 67 in the CTTH) and purely from an aesthetic point of view I think it isn't as pretty as I've come to expect from US courses. Too many ugly edges to fairways where sand and rocks seem to spill onto the fairway (or the fairways spill onto the sand).
I'm sure it'll be a great course to play, just not as aesthetically pleasing is all.
Its a old school track John. Has been touched up during the years. A course that is pretty straight forward. Can see everything in front of you. Trees do not come into play.
The greens on this course is what protects the course from low scores. Most all the greens the edges roll off into tight chipping areas. Finding the right area to land ball on approach is going to be the key.
If course is dry and fast watching the Pros IRL is going to be fun. They will not think its fun though. :))
