The championship tees and greens are a fantastic new challenge, and who is saying this (me), is playing with PRO equipment (255' drive and 190' 3iron). There is nothing wrong having to play a 3iron or a 3wood to the green. I got here with ONLY earned credits, couldn't afford anything better. Now I could, but better clubs are locked. So I just lower my head, play the weekly tourneys, and figure out how to improve my game. Most of all I don't complain.

I don't play MPs with tour masters, but I still can earn something with even RGs.

Now WGT is testing RGs for legends, that's good, and who cares about sandbaggers, they have always existed in golf.

Problem is people now want things EASY, and that is a problem of our whole society, not just WGT

No.... we just want it fair. Difficulty IS NOT the problem.

There are Tour Masters (in some cases sandbagging Tour Masters) that are just as good as Legends using  the same equipment and teeing off from tees that are sometimes 50 yds shorter.

I think a bigger problem with our whole society is reading comprehension.

try not being able to drive a fairway on some of the courses and then come back and tell us how you feel.

Sarge, I agree with you on the difficulty the Legend players are having in ranked round play, but the Tour Master is having difficulty reaching fairways in high winds in our monthly tournament at St. Andrews.

Where I agree the Legend tier player needs a little longer driver, the Tour Master needs the current clubs we have to give us a chance at championship tournaments as well. Some Legend members don't realize this.

There's no denying the game changed for all of us in some fashion after the last update.

LOL. These forums don't often provide a laugh but that made me giggle.

With anything change can be hard. A lot of very good suggestions have been made to WGT on how to make improvements or I should say, what things are wrong with the game now.

    1. I know WGT is listening because there beginning to respond to many of the posts. Communication like that is important. When there isn't any response like in the past we feel alienated.

    2. I do like the fact that the scores are coming up. They are more realistic for our better players. Say like the top 20% of the legends.

    3. The good players, (some tour masters and up) are having trouble dealing with the newer conditions. They either don't have the time to practice with that much diligence, there computers just wont allow great meters, or there hand eye coordination will just never be that consistent. Most of the good players in this category are masters, and tour masters. Should each tier play in its own tournaments? I say yes here.

    4. WGT has to balance how many people to have in each tier. Too many and the competitive environment gets diluted with to many players not up to that level, hence complaints about clubs and such. To few and there isn't enough competition or are too few players for tourneys and ready go's.

    5. How should we improve clubs in a fair way. Maybe sale shafts in the pro shop that will give you different ball flights, distance, exc. Do we improve the balls. Do we think about what we really want for maximum distance for our equipment? How do our yardages compare to the avg. of say the top 25 players on the PGA tour. There is some room for improvement here.

    6. When WGT finally adds stance and lie results, and the ability to draw or fade the ball, how would these changes effect the scoring.

I could go on and on. This is really complicated ain't it?

I have no problem in reading comprehension; but do have a problem with the way things progressed! I was very much enjoying playing here.....and the comeradrie was great....but somehow it lost all that! I was on vacation when all the current changes were made. I was enjoying playing at the "pro" level and it suited my level of play. I came back to realize the all the egotistic, wannabe, pretend-I-am-a-real-golfer, MORONS had an input to how the site should be set-up!!! The reads are almost to the point of REDICULOUS! You would have to be HOUDINI to make a putt on some of the greens!! Its just WAY to far gone!!! I consider myself to be pretty-good; not great; but pretty-good. NOW; because there is a contigent that has nothing better in their life to do, than to beat ME; I have to adjust everything to accomodate THEM!! I have enjoyed my time here, and now you have my money! My bad!! Just because I beat one of your sorry asses in one match.......you have to do THIS!!!! It's farging ***!! I'll probably still play; after-all; I have invested in the site. BUT; the adjustments that were made border on IDIOTIC.!! Get freakin' real!! This ain't the fuckin' PGA!!!!!!!!

Agreed. And on a side note, this is some of the things that would make this game greater then it already is. I've said it before, the possibilities the members can come-up with for this game are endless.
