There a stat called CAREER EARNINGS. What is it for and is it useable if a player wanted to use it on WGT?

It's just a stat as to how much a player has won in WGT tournaments and advancements. The equivalent amount of credits were put in the player's account at the time the "earnings" were posted so there's nothing to use once you see that figure.

Which is "the equivalent amount of credits"?

To my best knowledge, there is no official exchange rate from credits to real currency.

So, is it the rate for gift cards, 165,000 credits for 250 $? (660 credits for 1 $)

Definitely. SRellim's a good example. Nary a dime spent and he's got the stuff.  :-)

True, but in the ProShop there is...both buying credits and earning are equal and spent as the same.

    I/e buy 100 credits for a dollar

Or earn say 100 credits for tier advancment, you have 1 dollar in earnings.

Both are spent/used the same way.

    Respectfully, I disagree.

    1) I buy 100 credits for 0.68 $ officially  (Zong: 3099 crs for 14,99  Euro = 20,60 $).

2)The only official conversion to $$ is in the Elite shop, charging 165,000 crs for $ 250 value (0,15 $ per 100 crs)

Which rate should apply to my feeble earnings?

    100 / 1 $?

    140 / 1 $?

    660 / 1 $?

    3) the T&C state

WGT Credits do not have monetary or stored value

thus the statement "100 crs = 1 $" is not valid.

I see, your exchange rate benefits you, here in the US 1 dollar for 100 credits.

I still suspect (as in your case) if you win 100 credits, it counts as 1 dollar in earnings...you'd have to track it to be sure, but I think that's how it'll be.

I'm speaking just for the "earnings" which are displayed in dollars, nothing else.

    MBaggese:
[...] you have 1 dollar in earnings.

When I earn 1 dollar, I want a green buck in my hand. And exactly this is excluded by the T&C.

You say, because the common rate is 1 dollar for 100 credits, the display of 1 $ for 100 credits earnings is justified. I say, it is not, because these 100 credits have no monetary value. They aren't even worth a Monopoly dollar.

You might as well buy a drink for 5 $ and imagine to own said 5 $, but you don't because it's irreversible. Same here.

And, how wealthy are the leaders of the earnings leaderboard on the front page?

Which impression will unsuspecting visitors get?

The point is, WGT portrays it that way, and calculates it as I mentioned.

You may not agree with it (how WGT portrays earnings), but it is what it is, and has been like that for as long as I know.

I don't see it changing in the future.

I agree though, it really shoud be shown in credits, not dollars.
