need help with Windows problem

  at least I think it is Windows.

  I had a virus called Twunk_32Exe and to get rid of it I had to do System Restore, and on coming back I keep getting messages like this repeatedly

  

   

  Why did I restore, well I ran AscPro deep scan and repair, still there, and CCleaner, so I googled Twunk_32.exe, and found a link which got me using Hitman Pro which ran for ages and at the end wanted $30 t fix all the faults it found, so I downloaded a cracked version of it from Piratebay but the comments are contradictory, good and bad.

  Would it be too painful to do a complete OS reinstall John?

  Yes Scott, as the OS was put on when built last year, so I don't have the disc.

  I have just run CCleaner and I haven't seen it pop up for several minutes, maybe fixed already, don't know.

  nope, it is still happening, bollox

  It'll just keep coming back next time you reboot your pc until you turn off system restore and remove it....because it gets loaded on start up via boot reg.

  twunk32's main motive is to steal data such as user id, password, tax return, bank account information, credit card details etc from users computer and send them to hacker sitting on remote server.

  Personally.....I'd be saving any critical data onto an external usb / drive........then reformatting the system....the last thing you want is your bank account emptied.

  PC's that don't have a OS disc usually have a recovery partition on the hard drive from where you can do a reinstall, but maybe you don't have that either.

  I hope you got rid of it John, from my Googling it looked a pretty nasty thing to have.

  sorry it wasn't hitman Pro, but SpyHunter 4 that ran forever and wanted $30 at the end of scan.

  probably not mate but there are other decent software you can try.....

  MalwareBytes

  Just install the trial pro version and run a complete scan.

  When it's finished scanning "select all" it finds and remove them.....it'll then prompt to reboot the pc etc...(this deletes the malware keys from the registry to stop them appearing again on reboot)

  After it's been removed .....just uninstall the trial version and install the free version :)

  MalwareBytes should fix your problem.

  Malware Bytes is really good.  I'd suggest running it in "Safe Mode" with networking capabilities.  Be sure you run the update prior to running the full scan.  It has a free trial version which will work for 30 days.

  am doing it now, I tried that spyhunter again, same shite, wants money.

  I sent u email Kat, have lost the calcs because of all this crap.
