March 18th My 1 yr Anniversary

  As of 9 am this morning I have officially been here 1 year.  Time seriously flies.  I just wanted to post up a thank you to the entire community for your support and help with the forums.  I know things have not always been as smooth as they could be, but I do feel that things have improved.  So in honor of this momentous occasion.... A small giveaway!

  Congratulations Shoe! You're a real asset to the community. In particular I'm so glad that you've introduced fun and crazy tourneys, including those with Starter Clubs.

  In honor of that, here's one I hit this morning, trying the Merion Precision tourney with Starters:

  Approach to #18 (sadly it was my 4th shot, after missing the front tee box attempt off the back tee).

  And a fancy clubs one, one of my most satisfying approach shots ever struck. This was from a seriously difficult uneven lie at RSG: the replay doesn't do justice to the severe uphill and sidehill spot that this was in, for a 127 yard 6 ft up shot into cross wind 16mph, hit 155 4/5 bs full pwr with late click against slope to 1.8 ft.

  Just goes to show.

  Bring a good pair of Shoe's into the house and they will last a long time.

  Pizza however - disappears rather quickly.
