"Opening day festivities"

  The program for opening day at Pinehursrt #2 will go as follows:   WGT staff & friends will meet in the clubhouse and after a short speech & toast, ribbon cutting will take place on the first tee.   Mr WGT will be first to tee off  (using the R1 driver & standing behind the Nike black ball).   Next up will be Icon & shoe (both sporting starter stuff).    Then all WGT members can shoot away which includes sandbaggers, multies & switch-hitters.   But --- This won't happen....     I'll wake up in the morning and there it is, plop, in my computer.  Like they threw a piece of meat to a tiger.     When a movie is released, we know what day it's coming out so that we can be there.   Where's our PR man?  Time for a party.   Open bar?  Free t-shirts?   --  just dandy

  Totally aggree with you there, WGT's idea of a big build up to the biggest day of the year for this game is to keep every one in the dark, yes we have some idea of when it will be with us but why not just name the bloody date.What harm will it do ?

  i expect b2b will be on to let us know shortly...

  April 19th, Easter weekend where most people will have the weekend off. So we will see Mass Hysteria and over load and the Leader board at it's lowest by 7pm PT.

  WGT usually have their downtimes for equipment upgrades and maintenance around 10p.m. PST  on a Wednesday evening. So my guess is that we will have a downtime on the 7th May and Pinehurst No.2 will be available to play on 8th May.

  oooooooh, Courteney,   I don't know.   That's a whole week difference.  Wednesday is a good guess but any night during the week seems to be their choices. Odd but so isn't VEM.   ---   just dandy

  You amateurs & pros can get a couple of wedges, that will help your game, just by taking a guess.   I saw a clue on the news page the other day.  Good luck   --  just dandy
