  Over time lots of player had asked for something like that.

  Having the clapping volume adjustable using the Music audio slider may work better for some players.

  Yes many requests over the years for this feature, and it is true WGT or any company will NOT please everyone. You are one of the few to actually  recognize  this fact.

  I think it is surprising they introduced this without have it as an option however.

  Personally I will never hear it (nor have I heard the other controversial sounds such as birds etc as I have all sound muted.

  While the clapping is nice I'm surprised I didn't hear at the very least groans for my bogey. Actually the sound of the claps caught me off guard. I didn't know we had members that felt they needed congratulations for their birdies on a virtual game. Oh well such is life even on a virtual game.

  No It's not really neat....   sounds like people clapping when they really have to, against there wishes.....lol

  I don't usually have the sound turned on when I'm playing the game, so it doesn't worry me, the only thing with the clapping is...   It's more things that my Puter has to load in that causes more bigger problems.....

  That causes more troubles like... meter stutters.

  I do remember a very old post metioning they would like little things like clapping... but that was years ago.

  I think, Wgt should start to turn all their attention to all the CC upgrades, we have all suggested.....  there is a list of all of em hanging around and Wgt knows about it.

  I don't think that adding claps could overload the Flash shell, nevertheless it sounds a bit unnatural, definitely I will turn off audio.Yet, If WGT will add a crowd of people following, too, we'd better buying another video card.

  Unnecessary, annoying, waste of coding time, and detracts from (cheapens) the in-game experience.  I know a good result from a bad one.  Please let me turn it OFF

  For heavens sake, WGT  adds a small thing like a bit of clapping and all some people can do is MOAN !! Get a life if you don't like it turn it off by muting all sounds,and as usual some clever person saying that it will mess up the game because of loading or something else issues. 

  Could have put a bet on that the moaners would be out

  Reminds of US TV shows where they hold up a board telling the audience to 'laugh' even though what they hear and see is not funny.
