i really doubt it's anything to do with Nike - the event is in fact still a Dick's event as part of the series - pretty positive that's got everything to do with it - it's the same argument as the very first time -
I can't fault wgt really - why would they turn down a chance at cash (assuming they got any from nike or dicks) - I think, what's really being asked by members here is that they take a stand and say all inclusive or nothing at all......in which case this game might disappear sooner than later due to such a moral stance with investers/advertisers/sponsors.
anyway, more a dicks issue than nike -
ps......who's to say nike doesn't have games out there with 'prizes' offered only to ROW customers? they can't walk all over their already in place agreements, but sure shouldn't stop them from getting into other markets that they're not already locked into-or out of by previous aggreements.
it's not equal footing, and i do feel bad - but let's lay the reasons where they belong. I'm not sure where those are, if at all, but can't blame wgt in my book.
