  I'm assuming someone from WGT could possibly take a peek at Rich's account information for further details...such as surname.....city of residence...D.O.B etc.

  Rich might have been his middle name....who knows?

  That's the nature of internet communities. Some people like to guard their identities.

  For instance.....we all know who Yancy is.....but what's his real name.

  I've known LJBast for a few years now.....he's a great laugh....I talk to him on Skype but I don't even know his first name.....I always call him LJ :)

  I chatted to Rich many a time on Skype about a lot of things but it was always just game related....no personal info. Perhaps if folks have any details on Rich, they could pass it along in private to Icon.

  WGTicon took the time to delete mine and bigeasy's postings on his wall
  with the link to this thread, and those were the only posts he removed.
  that alone should give you some indication about wgt's intentions regarding this matter.

  sadly they have a long history of being inattentive
  to this community of players who helped fund, among other things,
  their little private 1000$ purse for wgt (hack) employees CTTH tournie.

  C'mon man :).....this thread's not about ripping into WGT. It's meant to be about the community and wgt standing as one and trying to set up a comp in LC's name as a memorial.

  *** In Icon's defence.......Icon has already contacted me twice in private. That's the way Icon likes to work and will always work regarding personal stuff :)

  Let's leave the politics for another thread.

  Back to the LC Memorial......does anyone have any other ideas ? I see mraddie & JCGFREE have plans for setting up tourneys.

  I'm sure in due course, WGT will come up with something nice and will be a fitting tribute to Rich.....like naming on of the weeklies after him in the coming week(s)....remembering they most likely already have a scheduled worked out weeks in advance, so would have to edit their format to fit something in.

  will it be by invitation only?  I never knew LC but by all the posts he had to have been one helluva guy, and I would enjoy getting trounced in that respect....

  if it's a wgt renamed weekly ...single play or unlimited play or monthly open...then it will most likely be open to all. i think it'd be fun to have it open to all tiers.....i.e from hacks to tour legends all competing in one field.

  Rich's passing is sad...but let any event be a celebration of his life :)

  He'd have liked that a lot.
