    jcs89:

I can use Bubba Watson's driver, but i guarantee i can't hit it as far as he can.

Jim Furyk probably couldn't either...lol...he averages 33.8 yds LESS off the tee compared to Bubba...(I got a feeling that if he did complain the PGA wouldn't care or listen) ..especially after what he accomplished today.

Now back to the OP...thanks for caring and listening WGT...sorry not everyone is happy...It would be unrealistic to think that could happen anyway.

But you seem to be missing the point boffmen....on this game everyone CAN hit it the same distance.  On this game Furyk would have no reason at all to complain because everyone hits equal distances.  If the PGA gave him some magic pill that increased his distance but wouldn't let Bubba have one, Bubba would have a great reason to complain. And i bet all golfers teed off from the same tee box this weekend. WGT has stated that they strive to be realistic and equal distances for all is in no way realistic.

I see everyone's points but I find it hard to play against a legend and have to play on their tier level greens why cant you use your own tier greens  same for everyone really I know a lesser tier gets a shorter hole but lets face it it is all in the putting

Why am I getting not points for monthly match play wins?

buying more equipment is no benefit to the game only to the WGT

Hi Deputy. As a rough guide just knock off 20% from what you are used to. A bit more for downhill, a bit less for up.

Deputy it is more like -25% uphill and -30% downhill for the tournament green speeds. Some of the undulating greens at St. Andrews you sort of have to improvise because they go uphill then downhill or visaversa.

    WGTSky:

    • Many Legend players have commented regarding the difficulty with clubs that don’t allow for a suitable drive to set up a potential birdie. As a means to tune the experience without compromising the challenges that should be faced as a Legend, you will soon see a new ball for Legends who are level 30 and above that will give a sufficient increase in distance.

This ball is gonna need to be something awesome but I am glad WGT are finally looking into it. Assuming that it is equivalent in feel, spin and cost to the GI-SD ball then I think it could work.

But if the price is massively greater than a current GI-SD then I fear many legends will just feel manipulated into spending more money.

Also, I reckon this ball will require about a 10% increase in distance over the GI-SD to completely level the playing field. What is that, like 4 dots? Even 5?

If WGT get it right I may just be pursuaded to come back to the game. Here's hoping...

this may be totally off topic  but i love the  game i play a ton  but the new tiers    should be  revamped  i was a pro  with an avg of  around 68  i was on my way to becomming a master  then bam  the new tiers came out  i'm am now forced to master   tier  now  my avg is over 74  though  my level is around 46   so  i'm just  wondering  was it my level  because i play alot that forced me to master   because it definately wasn't  my avg   at best i should be tour pro atleast then i would play  in the tournaments cause i might stand a chance. but to know  before i even tee off  on the first hole   i'm out of the tournament there is no reason to play .If i'm forced to a tier higher than my skill level allows me to be  i should atleast have access to all equipment available to a master tier  not have to wait 6 months til  my level  gets to 83  by then my avg will be 83   will that drop  me back to a tier i can compete at    or i can do what so many other have done  to get my avg down  and just play the front 9 at st andrews over and over  and give my self a false avg  .My avg is real  and based  95%  on full rounds of 18   on mostly Oakmont and Bethpage  but  its tough to score on those courses from master tees with pro clubs  other than driver  had no choice  to buy a driver  so i could atleast reach the fairways and greens in reg  .  one other point  why can we not have  Oakmont  included in the weekly  monthly and even CC tourneys  .    in CC tourneys  how bout  giving us the opportunity  to move the tee boxes to change up the tourneys  a bit.   other than those issues    and the fact we need more courses   i love the game   and i'm hooked

    thanks

    Dave

I have a suggestion that  might help  along with some suggestions that others have made  to put the fun back in the game  for those of us who just want to play and   don't really care too much about  our avg's ,  Besides having a penalty of  (for example ) a loss of 2 or 3 levels  for quitters   if there is a way to determine whether the person   has quit   or if the game crashes  because nobody should be penalized for something they didn't do     only downside  is  if you want to  improve your avg  you will have to play the competative side and still deal with the quitters and the people that are anal about their avg's .

My Suggestion is  when in multiplayer have 2 options to choose from a COMPETATIVE  option  under the competative  option  everything remains as is  scores count towards avg and tiers etc  just like it is now  . and a FUN option  where  people can just play and enjoy the game with out worrying about hurting their avg's  if they have a bad game basically the same as practice rounds now  with being able to increase your levels   under the same system  and  the only difference being that your rank determines where you tee off from and what speeds the greens will be  because  its  not fair to a hack or an amature  to tee off from master tees and   have to use very fast or tournament greens just because they are playing a higher tier member .

thats my 2 cents   thanks for listening
