YOU ARE AN IDIOT TomJay.  YOU CAN PLAY YOUR WAY BUT THIS MAN IS ONLY ASKING FOR AN OPTION.  I HAPPEN TO AGREE WITH HIM AND YOU DON'T.

You're admitting you are the problem not them in the above post as well.

I also am the problem but asking for an easy resolution by WGT is logical.

How is it that your failure to make club/shot selection part of your pre-shot routine the caddy's fault?

He didn't say it was the Caddy's fault if you read what he says.  Only that it would improve his game if he had the option.

    And I agree.

Give me a switch no more no less let me decide if I want the caddy. In real life I have never played with a caddy and I would prefer the same choice here. Perhaps some of these guys are country club spoiled brats.

The ONLY thing the caddy does reliably is to remove the flagstick on putts.

I've gotten into a pre-shot routine that effectively removes the caddy from the equation but I still support the option of totally removing the caddy, indeed I'd like a virtual mass burning at the stake for all our crack addicted caddies.

Yes, it's the players fault for not checking but it should be so easy just to get rid if the useless crack smoking bag carrier.

Several times I've gotten ready to pull the trigger on a 5 footer and catch the 100 ft meter out of the corner of my eye.. Some of us don't play all the time with 100% focus.. I really don't see why having an option to disable the caddy would be controversial.. oh wait..  :)

One question...how many dummy strokes would youguys take if there was no cady?...before you realized you did not select a club?

In the same regards, why not just pretend there is no caddy and select your club/putt meter/etc..

    here ya go:

    POOF!!!!...no one has a Caddy,

Now look at the bottom of your screen and do what ya need to do.

I know they say this is a game of math...but heck, we now be adding things in single digits;)

It's a well known fact the caddy serves only to catch you out, and is an annoyance at best.  Best thing is to say to yourself at the start of every round that you double check everything.  Basically all as said above.  One of those little things that might suddenly miraculously get fixed if some real competition ever happened...maybe:)
